The Bakersfield CVB has partnered with Meetingmax, the industry leader in online housing solutions. This service is complimentary to event planners and groups, allowing attendees to reserve hotel rooms online through a single web site exclusively designed for your event! No more calling multiple hotels or wondering if your room is reserved. Meeting planners get exclusive access to the system, allowing them to observe hotel room pickup in real time!
Once the CVB Sales Team receives bid responses from local hotels, the event planner determines which hotels best suit its group or event. The chosen hotels are then inputted into the system by CVB staff. A link to the reservation site is placed on the event/group web site and printed on all collateral related to the event that is given to attendees. Attendees simply go to the web site, determine which hotel suits them best and reserves the room via credit card. The hotel receives the reservation and sends the guest a confirmation number via e-mail.
